WEBDESK (Azaad English): The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced changes to the UAE visa policy. This includes an online application process for all visa types, a new processing fee, and a mandatory biometric data collection form.
Online visa applications have become mandatory for all types of visas in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) through new rules implemented by the country. Prospective applicants must provide documents by using the online portal system. The current policy change intends to deliver swift and secure visa applications.
UAE Visa Fees and Payment Process:
According to the UAE embassy applicants need to pay $69 per person through a deposit in the specified Al-Falah Bank account. The applicants need to show their original payment receipt to prove payment while applying for the visa.
Required Documents for UAE Visa Application:
Applicants must provide the following:
- A bank statement with a minimum balance of $5,000. The stated bank statement belongs to an applicant themselves or their parents or their sponsor.
- Proof of accommodation, such as a hotel booking, house ownership document, or an invitation from a host in the UAE.
To demonstrate their purpose of leaving after the intended visit applicants must submit a ticket that confirms their travel plans. - A passport valid for at least six months from the date of application.
New UAE Visa Rules for Children:
Children who want to obtain visas in the UAE must follow updated procedures established by the government.
Young children below five years of age must not access visa centers. Children between 5 and 15 years need to submit a photograph without attending the visa center.
A photograph of children between six and fifteen years old requires them to visit the visa center for the photo procedure.
Children who have turned 15 must visit the visa center for full biometric verification before the process conduct matches adult applicant procedures.
Biometric Verification & Processing For UAE Visa:
Biometric data collection together with visa processing occurs at the UAE visa center for people older than 5 years. The applicant will get a summons notification through which the future steps will be communicated after submitting their application.
