WEBDESK (Azaad English): Instagram influencer and model Kashaf Ali has spoken out about the rumours linking her to cricketer Saim Ayub, calling them “baseless” and unnecessary gossip.
A recent video of the two at a bowling alley in London sparked speculation about their relationship. The clip, which showed them chatting and taking selfies, quickly went viral on social media.
Responding to the rumours on Instagram, Kashaf Ali criticized both the media and the public for focusing on trivial matters.
“There are so many real issues in our country, but people choose to discuss things that don’t even matter,” she said.
She dismissed the dating speculation, saying the video was being taken out of context.
“You don’t even know the person in the video, just like you don’t know me. It’s surprising how people create stories based on assumptions,” she added.
Saim Ayub, 22, is currently in London recovering from an ankle injury that ruled him out of the ICC Champions Trophy. His stay in the UK, along with Kashaf Ali’s social media posts, led to further speculation about them spending time together.
While neither has confirmed a relationship, the viral video continues to be a trending topic, drawing mixed reactions from fans.
This isn’t the first time Saim Ayub has been in the spotlight for non-cricket reasons. Earlier, he faced criticism for ignoring a journalist at a charity event in London, which also sparked online debate.
Despite the rumors, Kashaf Ali remains firm that the video was nothing more than a casual moment blown out of proportion. “There’s nothing to talk about. People should focus on real issues instead of creating drama out of nothing,” she said.
