The date for Eid ul Azha in Pakistan has been announced, as the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee met in Islamabad on Tuesday evening for the sighting of the Zilhaj moon.
Zilahaj moon has not been sighted, according to Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee and Eid ul Azha will be celebrated on June 7 in Pakistan.
Earlier this week, the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (Suparco) released a forecast regarding the crescent moon sighting for Zilhaj 1446 AH. The prediction, based on scientific analysis, astronomical data, and modern observation methods, indicated that the new moon will be born on May 27.
The Zilhaj moon has not been sighted according to Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Lahore.
