Wife gang-raped in front of husband in Faisalabad

In a tragic incident, a woman was gang-raped infront of her husband under Faisalabad Motorway bridge.

The police have registered the First Information Report (FIR) in the Sandal Bar Police Station on March 25.

According to the FIR available with Azaad English, the husband named Adnan Masih was traveling with his wife on a motorcycle after picking his wife from University of Agriculture’s girls’ hostel towards their home.

As they were traveling towards their home, two suspects followed them and stopped them on their way near Motorway Bridge 62-JB Channan.

In the FIR available with Azaad English, the husband narrated the harrowing incident when the suspects robbed the victims at gunpoint, taking away petty cash, and mobiles.

Adnan Masih stated that he was tied up by the two criminals as they took his wife in nearby field where “one by one, they raped my wife.”

The incident has caused a massive social media uproar with many users relating the incident with another past gang-rape case in 2020 near Sialkot motorway. Many social media users pointed out that the unfortunate incident took place in the holy month of Ramadan

Afterwards, the victim called the police helpline and authorities registered the case under FIR No. 339/25.

The husband in his statement nominated three indiviuals. Regional Police Officer (RPO) Faisalabad Zeeshan Aasghar while talking to Azaad Digital said that four teams are working on teh arrest of teh suspects

Social media reacts to Faisalabad Motorway Rape case

Social media users are demanding justice for the victim, and X and Instagram are flooded with people urging the government to take strict action against the culprits. Some social media users say this incident is reminiscent of the Lahore Motorway rape case.
