Senior Congress leader, while talking to the media, lashed out at Indian Prime Minister Modi for failing to apprise the nation of aircraft and human losses during its war with Pakistan in April.
A female leader of the Indian Congress Party, while making serious allegations against the Modi government on a talk show on a private Indian TV channel, not only gave a strong reply to the anchor but also brought Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government to the dock for defense failures and alleged cover-up.
During the program, the anchor asked “Why does Congress criticize the government on every issue?”
To which the female leader of the Congress replied, “Where are the pilots of all the Indian warplanes that Pakistan has shot down, which the Indian Air Force chief himself has admitted, and where are they?
She said that if the Modi government is hiding the deaths of these pilots, then this is tantamount to serious treason against the country and the nation.
She further said, “If the pilots are alive and safe, where are they? Why is the nation not being told the truth?”
She alleged that the Modi government has made a deal for the debacle ‘Operation Sindoor’; however, she did not explain the nature or details of this secret military operation.
It should be recalled that immediately after the incident in the Pahalgam area of occupied Kashmir, India launched a series of attacks in different areas of Pakistan under ‘Operation Sindoor’ on May 7 to May 10.
According to the Pakistan Army’s Public Relations Department (ISPR), 24 explosions took place at 6 different locations during these attacks, in which 40 Pakistani civilians were martyred and 121 were injured, while 13 army personnel were also martyred and 78 were injured.
The Pakistani armed forces responded promptly and effectively, shooting down 6 Indian warplanes, including three Rafale aircraft, and destroying Indian brigade headquarters and check posts on the Line of Control.
