Weather turns pleasant with light rain in Islamabad before Sehri

WEBDESK (Azaad English): Islamabad is experiencing pleasant weather as light rain has started in the city and surrounding areas before sehri on Monday.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the weather is expected to remain cloudy, with strong winds, thunderstorms, and rain in different areas. Some places may receive moderate to heavy rainfall, and there is also a chance of hailstorm in certain locations.

The PMD had earlier predicted rain and snowfall in northern areas, including Murree and Galiyat, from February 25 to March 1. Similarly rain in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, and Jhelum were also expected a long with thunderstorms.

As per the latest update, Islamabad and the Potohar region may experience light rain in the morning on March 4, 2025.

Other areas in northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir will also have cloudy weather, with rain and snowfall expected in the mountains.

Due to these weather conditions, authorities have advised citizens to take necessary precautions, especially during strong winds and possible hailstorms. Farmers have also been warned to protect their crops from potential damage.

According to the PMD’s weekly forecast, most parts of the country will remain dry, while northern areas will continue to experience cold weather. Residents are encouraged to stay updated and follow official guidelines to stay safe.
