The Chinese company, Vivo, is taking on the challenge of best mobile camera with its upcoming Vivo X200-Ultra against major famous mobile smartphones.

While the company has not officially announced the upcoming, highly anticipated flagship device Vivo X200-Ultra’s release date; it is expected that it will be leaps and bounds better than its impressive predecessor Vivo X100-Ultra.

Vivo’s CEO Han Boxiao has showcased the photography capabilities of the Vivo X200-Ultra telephoto camera by releasing some if its sample images.

The anticipation and excitement has its fans grabbing by their seats as the Vivo X200-Ultra will feature a dedicated camera button like the iPhone 16 pro series.

It is also expected that the Vivo flagship will feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and pack a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.

The handset is expected to pack a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless support. One of its amazing features include the 120Hz refresh rate screen display.

Rumours have reported that Vivo has confidence that the Vivo X200-Ultra’s video stabilization capabilities compete against iPhone 16 Pro series. iPhone 16 Pro series is widely regarded as the benchmark for smartphone video quality. The phone will also likely feature 10-bit log video recording and the ability to record at 4K 120 FPS.

Furthermore, the most significant factor differentiating Vivo X200-Ultra from its previous generations will be its 35mm lens on its main camera. It will also use the 50 mm, 85 mm and even 135 mm in its photos.

Vivo releases the sample images showcasing its upcoming flagship’s camera capabilities. The 200 MP telephoto has a bigger aperture allowing 38% more light intake which means greater depth and quality.
