The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted ‘very hot’ and dry weather across Pakistan on Monday. The dry and hot weather will be a sign of a longer summer season for Pakistan.
Temperatures are usually high during summers in Pakistan, but this year, especially, Punjab Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued a heatwave warning, and PMD has also issued a similar warning.
Due to the warning, the Punjab Education Department has written a letter to the Punjab Chief Minister (CM) with a recommendation for early summer vacations this year.

“Hot and dry weather is expected in Islamabad and surroundings,” according to official website of PMD.

Similar to Punjab, hot weather conditions will be experienced by residents of Sindh on Monday. According to the national weather forecaster, ‘very hot’ weather is expected in the province.
Balochistan
Gusty winds are expected in Balochistan, along with dry weather.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
“Mainly dry weather is expected in most districts of the province while, partly cloudy in upper districts. However, rain-wind/thunderstorm is likely at isolated places in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Battagram, Buner, Mohmand, Khyber, Kurram and surroundings,” the weather forecast of KP for Monday read.
