In a post on X, US President Donald Trump announced that his government had successfully targeted Iran’s nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.
He congratulated the American people following the attack and concluded his statement by saying, “Now is the time for peace.”

In another post, he made the announcement about his address to the nation and added that Iran should now agree to end the war.

Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran warns it will take action against US
The Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran lambasted the US bombing of its nuclear sites.
“Following the brutal attacks by the Zionist enemy over the past few days, Iran’s nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan came under a savage assault in the early hours of today—an act in blatant violation of international law,” the state body said.
“This action, which contravenes international norms, has unfortunately taken place under the indifference—or even complicity—of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).”
It also threatened potential legal action.
Netanyahu responds after US strikes Iran
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “Congratulations, President Trump. Your bold decision to target Iran’s nuclear facilities with the awesome might of the United States will change history. In Operation Rising Line, Israel has done truly amazing things.”
“But in tonight’s action against Iran’s nuclear facilities, America has been truly unsurpassed. It has done what no other country on earth could do. History will record that President Trump acted to deny the world’s most dangerous regime the world’s most dangerous weapons,” he added.
Trump holds press conference
Addressing the Americans, US President Donald Trump said, “Our objective was the destruction of Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity and a stop to the nuclear threat posed by the world’s No. 1 state sponsor of terror.”
He spoke about four minutes.
“Iran, the bully of the Mideast, must now make peace,” warns Trump.
President Trump talked about Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel, saying they worked closely as a team.
“There’s no military in the world that could have done what we did tonight,” he says.
“I want to thank and congratulate Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu,” he said.
“We worked as a team, like perhaps no team has ever worked before, and we’ve gone a long way to erasing this horrible threat to Israel. I want to thank the Israeli military for the wonderful job they’ve done.”
Israel on high alert after US strikes Iran
Israel has raised its alert level, permitting only essential activities until further notice, the military announced.
“It was decided to shift all areas of the country from Partial and Limited Activity to Essential Activity, a prohibition on educational activities, gatherings, and workplaces, except for essential sectors”, the Israeli military statement said.
The battle has just begun Mr. Trump, says Iran’s state TV presenter
According to an Iranian presenter, “The battle has just begun, Mr. Trump! Now you talk of peace? We will deal with you in a way that makes you understand the consequences of recklessness.”
He said this in reaction to a post by Donald Trump that called for peace with Iran.
Iran will be attacked again, says Trump
After bombing three nuclear sites in Iran, Trump has warned that Iran will be attacked again if it does not stop.
He said: “They should stop immediate. Otherwise they will get hit again.”
No radioactive threat from targeted nuclear sites, says Iranian state media
According to Iranian state media, “There are no materials in these three nuclear sites that cause radiation.”
“The Islamic Republic had evacuated the three nuclear sites some time ago,” said Iran’s state TV.
Crisis management chief of Qom in central Iran has said, “A few hours ago, after the activation of Qom’s air defense and the identification of hostile targets, part of the area surrounding the Fordow nuclear site came under enemy aerial attack.”
US informed Israel in advance about Iran attack, claims report
According to Walla News, US had informed Israel in advance about the attack on Iran. The matter was coordinated, reported by the news outlet.
Israel was alerted that the bombs were going to be dropped at some point before it happened, and President Trump spoke with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu afterward, reports New York Times.
B-2 bombers used in US attack on Iranian nuclear facilities
According to the New York Times, several American B-2 bombers were used to strike Fordow. These bombers are capable of carrying 30,000-pound “bunker-buster” bombs, designed to penetrate fortified underground sites like Fordow.
Some senior officials spoke to the newspaper on the condition of anonymity.
US Congresswoman calls Trump’s Iran strikes ‘unconstitutional’
Democratic member of Congress, Sara Jacobs has said: “Trump’s strikes against Iran are not only unconstitutional, but an escalation that risks bringing the US into another endless and deadly war.”
It is pertinent to mention that it has been reported that Trump did not seek the approval of Congress before striking Iran.
In the Senate and House of Representatives, lawmakers from both major parties had put forward legislation to compel Trump to go to Congress before attacking Iran’s nuclear site. But Trump preempted the votes on the bills.
