The Embassy of the United States in Islamabad has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a school bus in Khuzdar, Balochistan, which killed five people, including three children.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie A. Baker expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives and extended condolences to the affected families.

“We stand with the Pakistani leadership in condemning this brutal attack on a school bus in Khuzdar,” Baker said. “The killing of innocent children is incomprehensible.”

She added that the United States shares the grief of the families who lost their loved ones and is praying for the swift recovery of the injured.

“No child should have to live in fear while going to school,” she stated. “We stand with those in Pakistan who are working to end this violence.”

The attack in Khuzdar, targeting schoolchildren, has triggered widespread outrage and condemnation both within Pakistan and abroad.
