WEBDESK: TikTok personality Kashif Zameer has been arrested after a video went viral showing him mocking a police uniform during a wedding event. Lahore police say the incident has deeply hurt the image of the police department.

The video shows Kashif Zameer handing a tray full of money to a police constable and then throwing cash in the air. The officer, dressed in uniform, is seen accepting the money, which sparked outrage online.

The case has been registered at the Qila Gujjar Singh Police Station under the Pakistan Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) and other legal provisions. The FIR claims that the act ridiculed and disrespected the police force in a public setting.

The constable involved, Khurram Shehzad, has also been arrested. He was booked separately at Sabzazar Police Station. According to officials, more raids are underway to arrest those linked to the incident.

Adding to the controversy, the FIR also mentions that Kashif Zameer tried to cover up the act by using artificial intelligence. A second video was posted online, in which the police uniform’s color had been digitally changed. Authorities say this was an attempt to mislead viewers and avoid consequences.

Kashif Zameer is known for his flashy lifestyle and viral content on social media. This is not the first time he has faced legal trouble. In the past, he has been involved in multiple controversies.
