WEBDESK: Amazon Prime Video has officially cancelled The Wheel of Time after three seasons. This news has left many fans disappointed and frustrated because the story was left unfinished. The fantasy series had a loyal fan base who hoped for more seasons to see how the story would end.

The Wheel of Time is based on a popular book series and has been praised for its exciting story and strong characters. Season 3 received very good reviews, with a 97 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. However, despite its popularity, the show was cancelled mainly due to high production costs and a drop in viewership.

Fans took to social media to express their anger and sadness about the cancellation of The Wheel of Time. Many felt the ending was sudden and left too many questions unanswered. Some even said they might cancel their Prime Video subscriptions in protest.

Amazon Prime Video and Sony Pictures Television reportedly discussed the show’s future for over a month before deciding to end the series. They will still support the show’s Emmy campaign, hoping to bring recognition to the talented cast and crew behind The Wheel of Time.

Although the TV show is ending, fans of The Wheel of Time will have something to look forward to. A new open-world role-playing game (RPG) based on the series is in development and is expected to bring the magical world to life in a new way.

For now, fans can re-watch the existing three seasons and hope that the story’s ending might be explored through other projects in the future.
