WEBDESK: Travellers aboard the Delhi-bound 22415 Vande Bharat Express were left soggy and stunned after the air-conditioning units leaked water throughout the AC coaches. What was meant to be a smooth, premium journey instead turned into an unintentional “waterfall” experience which netizens have gleefully lampooned as India’s latest luxury feature.

Vande Bharat Leaky Luxury

Under the leadership of Rail Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, on-seat shower facilities were touted as an upcoming trial for the Vande Bharat fleet. Yet, instead of a controlled jet of water, passengers found themselves battling an uncontrolled drip turning the coach into a makeshift shower.

Premium Fare, Public-Bus Leak: Vande Bharat AC Fails, Drips Water

One traveller, named Darshil Mishra holding PNR 2137164305, lodged multiple complaints during the journey. Despite premium fares, the AC coaches remained wet for hours, and no staff member offered an explanation or remedy. Passengers were forced to cling to their seats, umbrellas at the ready, as water pooled on the floors.

Netizen Reaction on Vande Bharat Maintenance Failure:

Social media users seized upon the mishap with tongue in cheek humour.

Someone said proud that no other train in the world offers this ‘facility.

The incident, captured on video and now circulating widely on social media, has reignited concerns about the deepening culture of political thuggery and intolerance under India’s ruling party.
