PML-N President and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan is now moving in the right direction, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is doing an excellent job.
Speaking to journalists in London, Nawaz Sharif also addressed concerns about his health, stating, “I am perfectly fine; false news was being spread.”
He praised Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership, saying, “Shehbaz Sharif has managed to stabilise a declining economy. Everyone must play their role in Pakistan’s development.” He further said that Maryam Nawaz has led Punjab into a new era of progress, and that all decisions in Pakistan are now being made on merit.
The PML-N leader stated, “Maryam Nawaz is not doing anything against merit in Punjab. Several projects are underway to restore Lahore, and we will return the city to its original glory.”
He added, “Maryam Nawaz is supporting Shehbaz Sharif, and both are working exceptionally well. It was PTI’s flawed policies that brought Pakistan to this point. We saved the country from bankruptcy, and those responsible for shutting down the national airline should face legal action.”
Nawaz Sharif concluded by saying, “Whenever we tried to lift Pakistan, we were obstructed. The current state of the country is a direct result of past poor policies.”
