Webdesk: In the Sambaza area of South Waziristan, near the Pak-Afghan border, security forces carried out a successful intelligence-based operation, killing four wanted terrorists.
The military surrounded the scene and targeted terrorist hideouts. The operation also led to recovery of a large cache of weapons and ammunition.
According to security sources, the killed terrorists were involved in attacks on security forces and innocent civilians. A search operation is still underway in the area to prevent any remaining militants from escaping.
Sources further revealed that the operation was launched after intelligence agencies received information that some extremist elements were hiding in a secret location in the border region and were planning a major attack.
Following the tip-off, security forces swiftly surrounded the area and conducted a well-coordinated operation. Terrorist hideouts were struck during the raid, resulting in the elimination of four high-value targets.
Sources added that the slain terrorists were involved in multiple serious crimes, including attacks on security personnel, the killing of civilians, and targeting government property.

A large cache of explosives, hand grenades, a 7-foot safety fuse wire, three detonators, a remote button, prima card, and bullets were recovered from him.
