Inspector General of Islamabad Police has revealed that in connection with the Sardar Faheem murder case, 57 suspects were questioned during the investigation. Raids were conducted at nine different locations, including in Gujranwala and Sargodha, where the suspects were arrested. One of the arrested men already has 25 criminal cases against him, including charges of robbery and other crimes.

Faheem Sardar, son of Brigadier (R) Sardar Ahmed, was found tied up and severely injured at his residence in Sector G-6/4, Islamabad on June 25 (Wednesday). The FIR was lodged by Zakir Habib Khan, the real uncle of the deceased, after being informed of the incident by his niece, Iram Nadeem. She told him over the phone that Faheem was lying unconscious at his home.
Upon reaching the scene, Zakir Habib Khan discovered that unknown individuals had murdered Faheem. Sources said that Faheem’s uncle stepped forward as the complainant because Faheem’s brother currently resides in the United States, and the family may have had no other option.
