In a shocking development in Mustafa Amir’s murder case, the Sindh police on Saturday arrested four more suspects allegedly including the son of famous Pakistani actor Sajid Hasan.
Police made the multiple arrests today reportedly after the detained suspects, Armaghan and Shiraz, were interrogated. Tribune reported that the four individuals, including Sajid Hasan’s son, have been arrested on drug charges.

Previously, the prime suspect Armaghan confessed to assaulting and killing his friend Mustafa Amir on January 6. Armaghan revealed that he assaulted Mustafa with an iron rod, then drove his car himself to Balochistan with Mustafa in the car’s trunk.
He confessed that Mustafa was alive at the time he set the car on fire in Hub, Balochistan. Mustafa Amir went missing on January 6 in Karachi’s DHA area. Police remained unsuccessful in locating Amir until further investigation pointed towards his friend, Armaghan.
Investigations revealed that Mustafa and Armaghan had a heated argument over a girl, Marsha Shahid, on New Year’s eve which led to Armaghan luring Mustafa to his residence with intention of killing him.
The girl who was allegedly the reason behind the dispute left for the United States on January 12. Upon investigation, the police went to Armaghan’s residence in DHA area where they faced an intense shootout injuring two police officers. Armaghan was reportedly running a call centre and defrauding foreign nationals by thousands of dollars.
The stand-off lasted almost four hours during which the prime suspect deleted critical data in over a dozen laptops.
The police, after rading Armaghan’s house, collected DNA samples of blood stains from the carpet which were later confirmed to be a match with Mustafa Amir’s mother.
According to police records, Armaghan had serious run-ins with the law enforcement agencies as he was implicated in multiple cases involving terrorism, attempted murder, drug trafficking and extortion.
