Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, while debating on the failed Operation Sindoor in the Indian parliament, became visibly embarrassed after opposition leader Rahul Gandhi asked him one simple question.
Rajnath Singh, while talking in the Parliament, claimed: “Pakistan accepted defeat [during the May war]. And they begged [India] to stop the hostilities. They tried… They talked to our DGMO, asking: Please stop this, it’s enough.”
“The Opposition sometimes asks about planes shot down. Their question does not represent India’s sentiments,” he added.
The Indian National Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi, was sitting with a poker face listening to Rajnath’s fairy tales, as he suddenly got up from his seat and asked in a loud voice: “Then why did you stop the war?”

The entire parliament erupted in applause of agreement with Rahul Gandhi’s sharp question that struck a chord with other party leaders.
Indian forces have suddenly claimed that they have neutralised the militants responsible for the Pahalgam incident, just as the Indian Parliament began its debate on Operation Sindoor.
Three alleged suspects have been killed in a fierce gunfight as part of the Indian Army’s ongoing “Operation Mahadev,” according to an official update from the Army’s Chinar Corps.
The identities and group affiliations of the three alleged suspects have yet to be confirmed. While the Indian forces have been hunting for those behind the April 22 incident in Pahalgam, which claimed 26 lives, it is not yet clear whether the individuals neutralised during Monday’s encounter were directly involved in that incident.
As the Indian Parliament is on session and the BJP government in power comes under lots of fire due to the failure of Operation Sindoor, this last minute military action did not appear as a serious counterterrorism act; instead it appeared like a diversionary tactic.
Indian opposition grills BJP governemnt
Congress MP K Francis George says, “While the official narrative denies any aircraft losses. Satellite imagery, international intelligence leaks and even our defence attaches seminar briefings reveal the truth: We lost 3 Rafales, 1 Sukhoi 30 MKI, 1 Mig 29, all shot down in our own territory.”
The Congress leader has exposed the Indian government by speaking the same truth the world has known since May 7.
During the discussion on Operation Sindoor in the House, Congress MP Praniti Shinde says, “… Operation Sindoor was nothing but a ‘tamasha’ of the government in the media. No one is telling us what was achieved in this Operation. How many terrorists were caught? How many fighter jets did we lose? Who is responsible and whose mistake is this, should be answered by the government…”
Congress MP Saptagiri Ulka says, “In 11 years, Modi has destroyed India’s foreign policy. After Operation Sindoor, no country stood with us. No one condemned Pakistan.”
