PTI boycotts key meeting on India tensions

PTI boycotts the high-level meeting which currently taking place in Pakistan regarding the situation with India right now.

Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar and Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lt General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry are briefing the political leaders.

Participants are being informed about the defensive preparations of the Pakistan Armed Forces, diplomatic efforts, and the state’s official stance.

In the current circumstances, this meeting is a prime example of national unity and solidarity.

Even at such a crucial time, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has boycotted this key meeting.

On this, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has reminded Imran Khan that at the time of the Pulwama incident, most of the PML-N leadership was imprisoned at the request of Imran Khan but even then, the leadership who was outside participated in the briefing called by Imran Khan, although he refused to sit with them in that briefing. Still, the party did not let national unity be compromised.

“The homeland and its security are far more important than leadership”, he stressed this in a post on X.
