Indian Home Minister Amit Shah has claimed that India will bring an end to terrorism by March 31st, 2026, possibly hinting at another planned move against Pakistan to cover up Modi’s blunders.
The debate on Operation Sindoor resumed in Rajya Sabha on Wednesday.
Amit Shah also added that, “Congress has no right to ask the BJP questions about terrorism. The only reason terrorism spread in the country was because of Congress’s votebank and appeasement politics.”
After Operation Sindoor, this is not the first time that India has threatened Pakistan.
The minister also claimed they would take Kashmir away from Pakistan, a desperate narrative India has been pushing for decades without success.
He also made a loud and baseless claim that Pakistan had to surrender during Operation Sindoor, ignoring the fact that India lost its Rafales, something the whole world witnessed.
When former Home Minister P. Chidambaram asked the BJP government for proof against Pakistan, despite giving a direct answer, he began criticising his own country’s politician.
During the session, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi mentioned an important fact that the government failed to maintain security in Indian Occupied Kashmir. She said that when the terror incident happened, there were no security forces there. She said that, despite being a tourist hotspot, no medical facilities were available at the incident site.
Moreover, Sayani Ghosh of All India Trinamool Congress questioned how terrorists could reach a tourist place but police could not reach there on time. She termed the Pahalgam terror attack a grave security lapse and criticised the government for an intelligence failure.
These statements suggest that even Indian politicians have lost trust in Modi.
