WEBDESK: A case has been filed against political activist and former provincial assembly candidate Taj Wazir in South Waziristan. He has been accused of spreading false information and inciting the public against state institutions through social media.
The First Information Report (FIR) was registered at Wana City Police Station. Authorities claim that Taj Wazir used his social media accounts to share misleading and fabricated news, which could create unrest.
The police have warned social media users to be careful about sharing unverified news that might cause public disorder.
Taj Wazir, however, has denied the allegations, calling them baseless. He insists that he has done nothing wrong.
