Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday strongly condemned the suicide blast in mosque at Darul Uloom Haqqania, Akora Khattak vowing to eradicate terrorism from country.
The press release issue by the PMO stated: “Prime Minister expresses deep sorrow over the martyrdom of JUI-S chief Maulana Hamidul Haq in the blast.”
It further stated: “Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif expresses deep sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the blast at Darul Uloom Haqqania.”
The PM directed the administration authorities to provide all possible medical assistance to the injured victims of the blast.
“Such cowardly and heinous acts of terrorism cannot dampen our resolve against terrorism,” the press release stated. PM Shehbaz has also instructed authorities to submit a report on the terrorist attack.
Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari also expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the blast calling the attack a heinous crime.
“Terrorists are the enemies of the country, nation and the humanity,” the president added.
Earlier today, a suicide blast ripped through in mosque at Darul Uloom Haqqania, Nowshera as the worshippers were leaving the mosque after Friday prayer.
Maulana Hamid-ul-Haq Haqqani, the vice administrator of Darul Uloom Haqqania and emir of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sami (JUI-S) along with four other people have died in the attack while more than a dozen people sustained injuries.
