Peugeot 2008 facelift launch in Pakistan: sharper style, larger infotainment, twin trims
Outside, the 2008 now wears a frameless grille that flows into redesigned full LED headlamps and three claw daytime lights.
New badging stretches across the tailgate, dual rectangular exhaust tips sit cleaner in the bumper, and 17 inch Karakoy diamond cut alloys pair with Bridgestone tyres.
A shark fin antenna and grey satin door trims complete the cosmetic update.
The cabin gains a 10 inch HD touchscreen with crisper graphics and a black roof liner that replaces the old silver accent headliner.
Both variants retain the brand’s i-Cockpit layout; compact steering wheel, raised instrument binnacle, and piano-key switch row.
Under the hood, specifications remain unchanged: a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine mated to a six speed automatic.
Coupled with front wheel drive and the same suspension tune carried over from the outgoing model.
Kia Lucky says the update focuses on design and tech while keeping the drivetrain proven for local fuel quality.
The facelift arrives amid a crowded launch calendar that will also see two electric SUVs the Jaecoo J6 and Omoda E5 reach showrooms this month.
Analysts expect buyers to weigh the petrol 2008 against newcomers touting zero emission range and government duty incentives.
For now, the French styled crossover leans on brand cachet, refreshed looks, and an established service network to hold its segment ground.
With bookings live and early units landing within weeks, the Peugeot 2008 facelift launch in Pakistan sets the tone for what promises to be a busy stretch for the country’s auto enthusiasts.
