Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Asim Munir on May 30 visited the Command & Staff College Quetta and addressed Student Officers and faculty of the Command and Staff College.

The Field Marshal paid tribute Shuhada of Operation ‘Bunyanum Marsoos’, expressed complete solidarity with their family members.

He stated, “The people of Pakistan became a wall of steel for the defence of the motherland under the national leadership.”

He also praised the military’s discipline and performance, affirming, “The success of ‘Ma’arka-e-Haq’ is a testimony to our national resolve, and complete synergy among all elements of national power.”

Field Marshal Asim Munir highlighted the warmongering and display of aggression from India, saying, “Pakistan will never be coerced and inimical designs to distract Pakistan’s efforts against war on terrorism will be comprehensively defeated.”

He reiterated that to achieve strategic stability for South Asia, there was an immense need to resolve the internationally recognized, longstanding dispute of Kashmir.

Terming India’s unilateral suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty as “hydro-terrorism”, COAS Field Marshal Asim Munir rejected India’s monopoly.

Talking about leadership, the Field Marshal advised the student officers to fulfill their obligations with utmost dedication, passion and resolve.

Emphasizing the need for innovative thinking and research, he lauded the Command & Staff College Quetta for grooming future military leaders who uphold the highest standards of this sacred profession.

“Training must reflect not only the current realities but also prepare us for the future battlefield, one that demands agility, innovation, and unwavering resolve,” he remarked.
