ISLAMABAD: The federal government has prohibited the entry of single men in Lake View park and Daman e Koh park during the Eidul Fitr 2025 holidays.
In a notification issued on Friday, the administration revealed: “In order to facilitate the families during the Eidul Fitr 2025, the Lake View Park and Daman-e-Koh Park, Islamabad are hereby declared as Family Park during the Eid Holidays.”
The notification stated that the Eidul Fitr 2025 Holidays would start from March 31 and conclude on April 2, 2025.

Traditionally, citizens of Islamabad observe the Eid holidays with zeal and enthusiasm by visiting recreational parks in the city.
Typically, families turn to the parks like Shakarparian, Rose and Jasmine Garden, Lake View Park, Daman-e-Koh, F-9 Park and other places to make the most of Eid holidays.
Daman-e-Koh is a hilltop park in the north of Islamabad located in the middle of majestic Margalla Hills, providing bird’s eye view of the city.
Scores of people visit the beautiful park routinely; however, it becomes one of the most visited spot during holidays.
Families enjoy their days off by visiting these fun places to enjoy Eid with their loved ones. The parks are full of families enjoying picnics, playing games, and eating from the roadside food vendors.
A large number of people also usually travel towards Murree Hills to enjoy Eid celebrations as the weather of Murree Hills is very pleasant.
The district administration took the decision of banning single men from these parks to make it easier for families to comfortably enjoy time with their loved ones.
