President of the United States Donald Trump, while talking to the media, once again reiterated that his mediation helped bring a ceasefire between India and Pakistan while expressing admiration for the Pakistani nation.

“I stopped the war between India and Pakistan. Pakistani people are great people,” stated the US President.”

‘Well, I stopped the war between Pakistan. I love Pakistan. Modi is a fantastic man. I spoke to him last night, we can now make a trade deal with him, but I stopped the war between India and Pakistan.”

President Trump’s statement comes after Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it clear to US President Donald Trump that India has never accepted mediation by any third country in conflict with Pakistan.

According to Indian official, Modi stated, “India’s Operation Sindoor is ongoing, India sees terrorism not as a proxy but as a form of war.”

In a highly irresponsible statement, Misri hinted that India will start war with Pakistan in future as well.

“Prime Minister Modi has clearly told President Trump that during this period, there were no discussions at any stage on issues like the India-US trade agreement or US mediation between Pakistan and India.”

He also claimed that the ceasefire was made through existing communication channels between India and Pakistan – a claim rebutted multiple times by US President Donald Trump.

Donald Trump has time and again highlighted his administration’s role in brokering a ceasefire between India and Pakistan after Pakistan gave a strong retaliation to India.

Experts have suggested Indian media and the Modi-led government have backstabbed the USA after asking for its help for a ceasefire with Pakistan.
