Honda Atlas begins export of fully assembled cars to Japan

Honda Atlas Pakistan has begun exporting fully assembled vehicles, marking a significant milestone for the country’s automotive industry. The company’s first export shipment includes 40 units of the Honda City, destined for Japan. 

A ceremony was held to celebrate the occasion, with Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Haroon Akhtar Khan, attending as the chief guest. In his remarks, Khan praised Honda Atlas, noting that the company’s efforts reflect its dedication and hard work. 

He also expressed optimism about Pakistan’s potential to become a key player in the global automotive market, stating that the nation’s auto sector is ready to make its mark internationally. 

Haroon Akhtar highlighted the government’s commitment to fostering industrial growth, citing Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s vision for an export-led economy. He assured that the government would continue to back the auto sector through supportive policies. 

Khan further urged local manufacturers to explore international markets, emphasising that boosting exports would play a vital role in advancing Pakistan’s industrial development.
