Webdesk: Mainly, hot and humid conditions are expected to prevail across most parts of the country, according to the latest Pakistan weather update. However, rain, wind, and thundershowers may develop at a few spots in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeastern Punjab, the Pothohar region, and south-eastern Sindh.
At present, a seasonal low lies over north-western Balochistan, while moist air from the Arabian Sea continues to flow into the lower and eastern areas. A westerly wave is also affecting the northern regions.

Punjab weather update
Most areas are likely to remain hot and humid. However, rain, wind and thundershowers are expected later in the day or night at scattered locations. The locations include Rawalpindi, Murree, Galliyat, Chakwal, Attock, Jhelum, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Sheikhupura, Narowal and Lahore.
Sindh weather update
Partly cloudy skies with hot and humid conditions are expected in much of Sindh. There is a chance of rain, wind and thunderstorms in some areas such as Umerkot, Tharparkar, Thatta, Badin, Karachi, Khairpur, Sanghar, Mithi and Mirpur Khas.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa weather update
The province will mostly remain hot and humid. Nonetheless, a few areas may see rain, wind and thundershowers, especially in Dir, Chitral, Swat, Buner, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Mansehra and Abbottabad. Additionally in Haripur, Malakand, Mardan, Swabi, Peshawar, Bajaur, Mohmand, Kurram, Khyber, Orakzai and Waziristan.
Gilgit-Baltistan weather update
Cloudy skies with chances of isolated rain, wind and thunderstorm activity are expected.
Kashmir weather update
Cloudy conditions are expected, along with the possibility of rain, wind and thundershowers in some areas.
Islamabad weather update
The capital and its surrounding areas will remain hot and humid with partly cloudy skies. There is a 55 per cent chance of rain, wind and thundershowers during the evening or night.
During the last 24 hours, most parts of the country experienced hot and humid weather. However, some areas in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan received rain, wind and thunderstorm activity.

Gilgit-Baltistan – Babusar: 1 mm
The highest temperatures recorded today were: Dadu and Dalbandin at 45°C, and Nokundi at 44°C.
Tourists planning to visit places like Muzaffarabad, Neelum Valley, Murree, Galiyat, Chitral, Dir, Kalam and Malam Jabba. Or Naran, Kaghan, Gilgit, Hunza and Skardu should expect cloudy weather with rain, wind and thundershowers from Monday to Friday.
Heavy rainfall is also likely in several of these locations between Monday and Wednesday. Travellers are advised to stay cautious and keep track of the latest weather updates to avoid disruptions or risks.
In Ziarat and the surrounding regions, the next four days are expected to remain hot and humid. However, rain is likely from Wednesday through to Friday.
The public is urged to remain alert, particularly in flood-prone or low-lying areas, and follow safety instructions issued by local authorities during this period of unstable weather.
