In a significant development, Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman and former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while talking to the media recently, warned that India has continuously threatened Pakistan.
“Kashmir has become an internationally recognised issue after our diplomatic success and the 5-day war between India and Pakistan,” stated the PPP chairman.
Bilawal remarked, “The main component of this ceasefire [between India and Pakistan] was that there were going to be talks between us at a neutral venue. All friction points were to be discussed.”
Bilawal warned that if India continues to show hostility and do anything to divert Pakistan’s rightful waters, stating, “We will fight a war. We will win the war, and then we will take all 6 rivers.”
Furthermore, while addressing the parliament regarding the federal budget, Bilawal defended the increased spending in defence, arguing, “To this day, Bharat is saying ‘this was a trailer and the movie is yet to come’.”
He further said, “Their Prime Minister [Narendra Modi] is speaking at public rallies openly threatening the youth of Pakistan that they should eat roti [bread] otherwise he [Modi] will give them a bullet.”
“Not only are they threatening to indefinitely suspend the Indus Waters Treaty but their minister [Amit Shah] recently stated that India will never resume the treaty.”
Bilawal Bhutto said that given the geopolitical situation Pakistan is facing, it must prepare for war.
Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, while holding a press conference, said India is a country seven times bigger and has more resources than Pakistan, yet it has achieved success on every front.
He said that India was defeated on the diplomatic front and Pakistan’s narrative was very strong on the international stage.
Bilawal Bhutto said that Pakistan has achieved a historic victory against India.
He also praised the responsible journalism in Pakistan, saying, “The role of Pakistani media during the war was also historic, which is highly commendable and a moment of pride.”
