Muzaffarabad: Prime Minister PM Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned India’s baseless allegations against Pakistan following the recent incident in Pahalgam.
Speaking at a event in Muzaffarabad to distribute financial aid to families affected by Indian aggression, he called the incident “regrettable” but criticised India for using it as an excuse to target Pakistan unjustly.
Simply, India chose to act hostile when Pakistan asked for a fair investigation. He claimed that Pakistan proved to the world community that India’s accusations were false and missing any evidence.
Addressing the audience, PM Shehbaz Sharif praised the bravery of the Pakistan Armed Forces, stating that they gave a strong and unforgettable response to the enemy. “Pakistan only exercised its right to defend itself,” he said. “Our forces made sure to avoid targeting civilians and focused only on military threats.”
He mentioned that the air defense system in Pakistan shot down six of India’s fighter jets during the conflict which showed the strength and determination of the people. He said the Modi government will be very cautious about doing anything to repeat such aggression.
While expressing his condolences to the affected families in Muzaffarabad, PM Shehbaz Sharif assured them that their sacrifices would not be forgotten. He said the government stands shoulder to shoulder with them in this difficult time.
“This is not just a political promise,” he said. “This is a national commitment. These brave families have paid a heavy price, and we will continue to support them.”
The Prime Minister made it clear that Pakistan will give a strong and respectful reply to aggression. At the end, he pointed out that a real peace in the area is likely to come only from justice, not from using force or playing the blame game.
