Pakistan Air Force shines at RIAT 2025 as JF-17 thunder and C-130H win top honours

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has won big at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) 2025 in the United Kingdom, bringing global recognition and pride to Pakistan.

In a major achievement, the PAF’s JF-17 Thunder Block-III won the “Spirit of the Meet” Trophy, awarded for its outstanding performance and unique journey. The aircraft made a non-stop journey from Pakistan to the UK through expert Air-to-Air Refueling (AAR). Its striking livery and strong presence impressed aviation experts and the international jury alike.

Meanwhile, another proud moment came when Pakistan’s C-130H Hercules aircraft was honoured with the “Concours d’Elegance” Trophy, given to the best-prepared and best-presented aircraft on static display. A team of international aviators judged the entries, and PAF’s beautifully designed C-130 stood out among many.
