There will be an uninterrupted power supply in Faisalabad, with not loadshedding at all during the key times in Ramadan, according to Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO).
According to the electric supply company, the residents of the city will not experience loadshedding during the hours of Sehri, Iftar, and Taraweeh.
In this regard, the company has completed all operational preparations across the region.
FESCO had provided extra transformers and trolley units to sub-division offices to manage the increased demand during Ramadan.
Apart from this, the company formed 300 teams for monitoring purposes.
Gas loadshedding in Pakistan
Earlier, a schedule was released for the supply of gas during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), gas will be available from 3am to 9am during Sehri time, while for Iftar preparation, only a few hours have been allocated, from 3:30pm to 10pm.
It is pertinent to mention that although it is almost spring in Pakistan, citizens are still facing a severe gas loadshedding.
Gas reserves are declining almost 8 to 10 per cent in Pakistan every day.
According to SSGC, by 2027 Pakistan’s gas reserves are expected to be reduced by half which is quite alarming news for the citizens.
