ISLAMABAD (Azaad English): The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has ensured the continuous power distribution throughout the entire period of Ramadan throughout its regional servicing scope. Thus there will be no load-shedding in Islamabad throughout the month of Ramadan.

The IESCO officials predict that power requirements for Ramadan will reach 1,206 megawatts (MW), but they guarantee an adequate power supply allocation from the national grid to meet the needs of the holy month without any load-shedding.

The established 126 complaint centers operated by the company will provide complete functionality throughout Ramadan. Staff members of IESCO maintain constant readiness to respond swiftly to any power problems that may occur. Staff members at a central control center track power supply and demand with distribution information in real-time which aids in avoiding disruptions during busy hours.

People experiencing power outages should inform their nearby complaint center through the helpline at 118. The management at IESCO dedicated their attention to essential zones particularly during the peak hours of Sehri and Iftar because demand for power reaches its highest levels at these times.
