Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has vehemently denied India’s claims linking Pakistan to the tragic incident in Occupied Kashmir that resulted in the deaths of more than 20 tourists.

“Pakistan has no connection to the Pahalgam terror attack. We do not support terrorism in any form, and locals should never be a target for terrorists. We have no doubt about this,” he said.

Some of the victims were killed by gunmen in front of their wives in a horrific act.

The minister highlighted that it is easy for India to blame Pakistan, especially when the Modi-led government is already violating human rights in Occupied Kashmir.

He further emphasised that the attack is homegrown and that Pakistan has evidence of India’s involvement in attacks within Pakistan.

“The central government in India is facing protests in many states, including Nagaland, Manipur, Kashmir, and Chhattisgarh. This is homegrown, as the government is exploiting many,” Asif added.
