Security sources have strongly rejected Indian media reports alleging violations of airspace by Pakistani drones, calling the claims “fabricated, baseless, and part of a broader disinformation campaign.”
According to official sources, no Pakistani drone has crossed the Line of Control (LoC) or the international border.
“These reports are entirely false and follow a familiar pattern of Indian media spreading misinformation without credible evidence,” said a senior security official.
The clarification comes in response to a wave of Indian news stories accusing Pakistan of deploying drones across the LoC in recent days.
Pakistani authorities, however, maintain that their forces have fully respected the ceasefire agreement and remain committed to regional peace and stability.
“Pakistan continues to uphold the ceasefire understanding in letter and spirit,” the source added.
“It is, in fact, Indian drones that have been observed violating the ceasefire along the LoC and the Working Boundary on multiple occasions.”
Officials noted that such propaganda efforts are often timed to divert attention from internal challenges within India or to justify increased militarization along the border. “These baseless accusations aim to mislead the international community and stoke tensions in the region,” the official concluded.
Pakistan has reiterated its commitment to peace but warned that any provocation or violation of sovereignty will be met with a firm and proportionate response.
