New ministers appointed in Federal Cabinet reshuffle

ISLAMABAD (Azaad English): The Federal Cabinet has undergone a major reshuffle, with several new ministers being assigned key positions.

Aun Chaudhry has been assigned the role of Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development. Mustafa Kamal will now serve as the Minister for National Health Services and Regulations.

Shaza Fatima Khawaja has been appointed as the Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, whereas Sardar Muhammad Yousaf has been assigned the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.

Khalid Hussain Magsi has been given the Ministry of Science and Technology, Muhammad Hanif Abbasi has been appointed as Minister for Railways, and Moin Wattoo will now oversee the Ministry of Water Resources.

Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry has been designated as the Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, while Ali Pervaiz Malik has taken charge as the Minister for Petroleum. Aurangzeb Khan Khichi has been assigned the Ministry of National Heritage and Culture.

Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has been appointed as the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, while Malik Rasheed Ahmed Khan is now the Minister of State for National Food Security. Abdul Rahman Kanju has been given the portfolio of Minister of State for Energy.

Aqeel Malik has been appointed as Minister of State for Law and Justice, whereas Bilal Azhar Kiani has been assigned as the Minister of State for Railways. Kesoo Mal Kheal Das will serve as the Minister of State for Religious Affairs, and Aun Saqlain will take charge as the Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis.

Mukhtar Ahmed Malik has been assigned as the Minister of State for National Health, while Talal Chaudhry will also serve as Minister of State for Interior and Narcotics Control. Wajiha Qamar has been given the role of Minister of State for Education.

Dr Musadik Malik has been relieved of his duties as Minister of Petroleum Division and will now serve as the Federal Minister for Climate Change. Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh has been removed from the Maritime Affairs Ministry and will now serve as the Federal Minister for the Investment Board.

Abdul Aleem Khan has been stripped of his responsibilities in the Investment Board and the Ministry of Privatization.
