Pakistani-Afghan actor and TV host, Najiba Faiz, has taken to her social media accounts to claim that supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ran smear campaigns against her character after she repeatedly uploaded content critical of PTI.
Earlier this month, Najiba’s TikTok account got suspended after her account was mass reported by PTI supporters for her content highly critical of PTI and its leadership.
Faiz, however, took to social media today to announce the reinstatement of her TikTok account, where she boasts 4.7 million followers.

Najiba Faiz’s content often targeted former Prime Minister Imran Khan and PTI which often drew immense ire of PTI supporters. In one instance, Najiba uploaded a video in which she remarks “Ghari chor” (watch thief) in a veiled reference to Imran Khan’s Toshakhana reference.
In her recent video, Najiba Faiz claimed: “I want to talk to you about something important which is PTI’s digital terrorism. I have faced character assassination, immoral and unethical content against me has been uploaded by PTI supporters. My TikTok account was suspended but I will never bow down.”
“PTI has become a party which regularly disrespects women, produce hateful content and harass women in online spaces. I am proud that a party so big which has so many MNAs, MPAs, and even a Chief Minister continue to be afraid of Najiba Faiz.”
She further alleged: “TikTok Pakistan’s moderation team has individuals who support and work for PTI. They can suspend my account but they cannot remove highly objectionable content against me.”
Najiba further requested the authorities including PTA, government agencies, and journalists to take action against the alleged bias of TikTok Pakistan moderation team.
