All public and private educational institutions across Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) will reopen on Tuesday, following a ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan.
The announcement comes as a relief after academic activities were suspended in schools, colleges, and universities due to recent cross-border tensions.
According to official notifications, the closures were enforced on May 7 in the wake of Indian drone strikes targeting parts of Punjab and AJK. In light of the security situation, the education department had temporarily shut down all educational institutions across the region.
