It is becoming increasingly difficult for the Indian government and Modi to hide their failures as Pakistan successfully achieved diplomatic victories, including Field Marshal Asim Munir’s latest visit to the White House.

Indian media has found it hard to cope with the fact that President of the United States, Donald Trump, personally invited the COAS Asim Munir for lunch at the White House – a meeting which lasted two hours behind closed doors.

Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, had recently faced humiliation in Canada after he visited the G7 summit but remained invisible throughout the event.

Before Modi was invited, international media reported that Canada had taken a stand to deliberately not invite Modi to the G7 summit.

Canada had taken a clear stand against Indian-funded terrorism and foreign interference inside Canada.

However, as pressure mounted, the Indian government managed to get an invitation for Modi later.

Indian Prime Minister Modi remained absent in the presence of heads of participating countries in Canada.

International media also removed India’s name and flag from the coverage of the G7 summit.

India was not brought forward because of its aggressive behavior at the G7 summit.

Experts suggested that inviting the Indian Prime Minister to the G7 summit was just a formality.

As Modi returned from Canada, Indian Foreign Ministry claimed that he was invited by President Trump but Modi declined due to pre-decided schedule.

The official reasoning for declining Trump’s invitation by Indian Foreign Ministry was due to Modi’s planned visit to Croatia.

However, during a public rally in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar on Friday, Modi claimed that he had declined Trump’s invitation because “he was called back by the holy land.”

“Just two days ago I was in Canada for the G7 summit. During that time, US President Donald Trump called me and invited me with great insistence. I told the President of America, thank you for the invitation, but I need to go to the land of the Lord. So I politely declined his invitation. Your love has drawn me to the land of the Lord,” he said.

Experts suggested that Modi was using different narratives for not going to Washington to hide the inconvenient fact that Washington twisted his arm to beg Pakistan for a ceasefire.

Experts stated that Modi’s farce was unraveling — and he’s reduced to feeding fairy tales to cover up a national embarrassment.
