WEBDESK: A famous outspoken Indian YouTuber, Dhruv Rathee, has openly criticised India’s current foreign policy, calling it a complete failure. In a recent statement, Rathee highlighted how Pakistan has gained the clear and open support of several important countries, while India has been left standing alone on the international stage.
Pakistani allies stand firm while India faces diplomatic isolation, YouTuber Dhruv Rathee exposes Indias foreign policy failure
Rathee pointed out that Pakistan is receiving strong diplomatic backing from powerful nations like China, Turkey, and Azerbaijan, particularly after the recent developments in the region. In contrast, India, despite its numerous foreign visits and public relations campaigns, could not manage to secure such open support from any major ally.
He reminded viewers how India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has spent years trying to win the favour of international leaders, especially former US President Donald Trump. Rathee mentioned how Modi went as far as actively campaigning for Trump’s political rallies and even organised the high-profile Namaste Trump event in India, where Trump was welcomed with great fanfare.
However, when a real crisis emerged particularly after the Pahalgam incident those efforts meant nothing. According to Rathee, Trump completely turned his back on India and instead chose to extend a special invitation to Pakistan’s military chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, at the White House. This move, he claimed, sent a clear message to the world about where true power and influence now lie in the region.
Dhruv Rathee also mocked Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar diplomatic style, saying that walking around in black sunglasses on foreign soil has now become India’s version of foreign policy. He criticised Subrahmanyam Jaishankar how focuses more on photo sessions, dramatic entrances, and personal image-building rather than serious diplomacy.
The YouTuber also criticised the steady decline in India’s relations with several neighbouring countries under Modi’s leadership. He specifically named China, Bhutan, Nepal, the Maldives, and Turkey as nations with which India’s diplomatic ties have worsened in recent years.
Rathee questioned the point of all of Modi’s foreign trips and photo opportunities if, when India needed its so called allies the most, none of them stood by New Delhi. Meanwhile, Pakistan enjoyed open, bold support from powerful regional and global allies.
“This situation shows the reality of India’s failed diplomacy,” Rathee stated, adding that Pakistan’s increasing international support is impossible to ignore.
