Pakistani actress Mahira Khan has revealed that her husband, Salim Karim hates attention from public and is very camera shy.
Speaking on a show where she was seen with other actors promoting her movie, Mahira shared that during a trip to London, a fan recognised Salim, which left him feeling quite irritated.
When host Nadia Yasir pointed out that the public had not seen Salim give any interviews, Mahira described him as “very shy”.
It is pertinent to mention that Salim is not from the entertainment industry. He is a Karachi-based businessman, owns a startup, and is reportedly also a DJ.
Mahira Khan has kept her relationship private before marrying him in 2023 in an extremely intimate ceremony. She only shared a few photos after the wedding and rarely posts about him on social media.
Meanwhile, her husband’s instagram account is private.

Mahira’s new movie, Love Guru is out in Pakistan. The film also includes Humayun Saeed, Ramsha Khan, Ahmad Ali Butt and others.
Before its release, the movie made history by becoming the first Pakistani film to have its trailer shown on the giant digital screens of New York’s Times Square.
The film is directed by the visionary Nadeem Baig, the creative force behind the phenomenally successful Pakistani blockbusters Punjab Nahi Jaungi and Jawani Phir Nahi Ani.
Love Guru marks Mahira’s return to the big screen after three years. She was last seen in The Legend of Maula Jatt (2022), a reboot of the iconic Punjabi-language film.
Mahira Khan’s filmography also includes Parey Hut Love, Manto, Superstar, Verna, Raees, Ho Mann Jahaan, and Bin Roye — the latter also starring Humayun Saeed.
