In a significant development, international activists including Greta Thunberg aboard the ‘Madleen,’ a vessel operated by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition have been illegally intercepted and kidnapped by Israeli Forces in international waters.

For the past few days, Geta Thunberg and many other activists have gathered global admiration and respect for highlighting the genocide being conducted against the Palestinian population by Israel.

Israel, for months, has deliberately stopped, obstructed, and slowed down international aid and food to Gaza in violation of every international law and moral principle.

Renowned international climate activist Greta Thunberg has been campaigning for the rights of the Palestinian people for years.

Human rights experts and activists found newfound respect for the travelers aboard the ‘Madleen’ which started its journey from Europe containing food for the civilians in Gaza.

Initially, the activists aboard the vessel sounded alarms during nightfall when they allegedly witnessed drones hovering over the ship.

Multiple videos emerged from the activists, with many warning: “We are being attacked!”

Greta Thunberg also released a video aboard the vessel a few hours ago, saying, “My name is Greta Thunberg and I am from Sweden. If you see this video, we have been intercepted and kidnapped in international waters by the Israeli occupational forces, or forces that support Israel.”

Social media users from around the globe have condemned the Israeli Forces and officials for kidnapping and illegally intercepting a boat carrying nothing but aid for the Gaza population.

Popular journalist Mehdi Hassan took to X to write, “Let’s be clear: Israel, an occupier, has no authority under international law to board or divert the Madleen. This is a hijacking, plain and simple. A hijacking of a UK-registered ship, with multiple *European* citizens on board.”

Israel Foreign Ministry’s official page on X has also released footage of its soldiers aboard the vessel, with a caption, “All the passengers of the ‘selfie yacht’ are safe and unharmed. They were provided with sandwiches and water. The show is over.”

The official page of Israel’s Foreign Ministry is referring to the boat containing international human rights activists campaigning for Palestinian lives as “selfie yacht.”
