The weather in Lahore has become quite pleasant, with winds and sunshine ahead of South Africa vs New Zealand, set to start at 2:00pm PKT at Qaddafi Stadium today (Wednesday).
The wind can help swing bowlers, especially in the early overs.
As of now, there is no prediction of rain, however, the semi-final has a reserve day. In case of a washout, South Africa and New Zealand will play tomorrow in Lahore.

However, in the Champions Trophy, both teams have faced each other twice, winning one match each.
South Africa vs New Zealand: PCB to provide free iftar in stadium today
In the spirit of Ramadan, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced that all fans will be provided with free Iftar boxes as the 50-over match is going to conclude at night.
An iftar box will have dates, juice, and a mini pizza. Apart from this, other edible items will also be available for the fans which they can purchase.
Champions Trophy final not happening in Pakistan
A day earlier, India easily defeated Australia and secured their place in the final. Whoever wins today will face India in Dubai.
The final will not take place in Pakistan as the Indian cricket team did not get clearance from its board to visit Pakistan despite our cricketer’s visit to India for the ICC World Cup 2023.
In the Champions Trophy, Pakistan did not even win a single match which disappointed many fans. Now for the upcoming series against New Zealand, PCB is reportedly making some major changes in the team.
