Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, on Friday addressed a press conference regarding India-sponsored terrorism in Pakistan, after at least six children were martyred in a school bus attack in Balochistan’s Khuzdar.

He said that they are briefing the nation on India’s 20-year-long campaign of state-sponsored terrorism. In 2009, the Government of Pakistan presented evidence to the Indian Prime Minister at Sharm El Sheikh.

He continued by adding that in 2015, Pakistan submitted evidence of Indian terrorism to the United Nations, and once again in 2019, further evidence was provided. He added that Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav was arrested from within Pakistan.

The press conference was held in Islamabad where DG ISPR and the Interior Secretary addressed the media.

DG ISPR said, “Only a madman would think India can cut off Pakistan’s water supply.”

He revealed that ‘Fitna Al-Hindustan’ has been killing innocent civilians in Balochistan since April 2024. On 11 March, over 30 civilians, including women and children, were killed in an attack on the Jaffar Express.

He questioned what evidence India had that justified the attacks on civilians carried out on 6 and 7 May.

He said, “We had intelligence that they would activate their assets , Fitna-e-Khawarij and ‘Fitna Al-Hindustan’ .Between 6 May and 10 May, Fitna-AL-Hindustan carried out 33 terrorist attacks.”

He stated that in recent years, after facing heavy losses while targeting fortified sites, Fitna al Hindustan has shifted its focus to softer targets, such as travellers, labourers involved in development projects, and critical infrastructure and equipment, in an effort to create the false impression that the State is losing its grip.

The attack on the school bus in Khuzdar is a manifestation of India’s proxy war. Frustrated by its defeat in conventional warfare, India is now targeting innocent children in acts of desperation,” Interior Secretary Captain (retd) Muhammad Khurram Agha said, he was accompanying DG ISPR.

He reminded the international community that Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav was arrested from Pakistan, and that numerous detained terrorists had admitted to receiving backing from India.

Taking further about state sponsored terrorism in Balochistan ISPR said that Mahrang Baloch and her BYC are proxies of terrorism. Terrorists and their proxies must be dealt with in the same manner any nation would handle such threats, there is no doubt, and absolute clarity on that.
