Founder Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan met with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Ali Amin Gandapur and his Information Advisor Barrister Saif in Adiala Jail on Wednesday.
Jang News has reported that Imran Khan tasked the two PTI officials for negotiating with the establishment.
The meeting between the former prime minister and the two men laster over two-and-a-half-hours.
According to media reports, Ali Amin Gandapur and Barrister Saif remained successful in their goal of convincing Khan for conducting talks with the establishment.
However, Khan partially agreed to Gandapur’s offer and Khan was also briefed on numerous provincial matters.
KP CM also discussed the ongoing criticism of PTI leadership on social media but the main topic of the lengthy meeting revolved around the establishment.
Sources said that the meeting also discussed reviewing the policy of confrontation with the institutions. It was allegedly decided to keep the contents of the meeting confidential until there is any progress in future talks with the establishment.
Gandapur will reportedly meet with Imran Khan in Adiala Jail again in the coming days.
It merits a mention that PTI has official denied the media report calling it false reporting. PTI has also announced that Gandapur will meeti with Khan again and provide the meeting’s agenda in front of the PTI Political Committee soon.
