Kasur Police have caught the child abuser suspect with a “self-inflicted gunshot wound to his genitals” after CCTV footage showed an innocent little girl being forced by the suspect.
A CCTV footage became viral on social media platforms, which showed two children – a girl and a boy – playing in the street with their tricycles, when a suspect appeared on the scene with very suspicious body language.
In the chilling video, the suspect, after making sure nobody could see him, crept up to the unsuspecting young child and forced himself on her, and started walking fast.
The visibly shaken innocent girl could be seen running back to her home, looking back to see if the abuser was coming after her.
A house owner’s private CCTV caught the incident of child abuse, which garnered immense condemnations and criticism from netizens.
Many social media users expressed disgust, fear, and pain with the incident as everyone called for justice to be delivered.
Kasur Police took swift action regarding the horrible incident and arrested the suspect within 24 hours of the incident.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz took notice of the regrettable child abuse incident and ordered the District Police Officer (DPO) of Kasur to apprehend the suspect.
Interestingly, the Police have stated that they found the suspect with a “self-inflicted gunshot wound” to his genitals, as the majority of netizens appreciated the Police for their timely action.
The Police also stated that the alleged child abuser, who had shot himself in the genitals, was being treated in the hospital
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Kasur Police wrote: “Suspect involved in inappropriate behavior with a girl arrested in injured condition after firing at specific body parts with his pistol, transferred to hospital After the video went viral, DPO Kasur had tasked the SHO with arrest within 24 hours, DPO Kasur visited the innocent girl’s home, placed a hand of affection on her head, and presented a bouquet.”
