Web desk: Karachi weather is muggy and hot ranging from 33C to 35C nowadays. From July 17, 2025, this weather pattern is expected to persist, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Pakistan Meteorological Department. Because of the increase in humidity, it feels hotter.
Karachi weather is observed at 0 per cent and the humidity is at 61 per cent, and the wind speed is 16km/h.
Karachi people and workers are having a tough time, especially labourers, street sellers and traffic wardens. On the other side are children and elderly people with medical conditions.
According to experts, the starting cause for this extreme Karachi weather is weak and sea breezes, more buildings fewer trees, and climate change, because of these things Karachi became hotter and time.
According to PMD, residents should take better care of their health, drink more water, and remain indoors during the hottest parts of the day.
There might be a little precipitation in certain places of Karachi, but it won’t help much. Authorities should adopt long-term measures to lessen the city’s heat, and residents of Karachi must exercise caution.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, Balochistan, and portions of Sindh are all expected to experience rain, high winds, and thunderstorms.
Along with the possibility of flash floods in streams and nullahs in places like Swat, Murree, Kohistan, D.G. Khan, Rawalpindi, and Kashmir, more rainfall is expected in Islamabad, northeastern Punjab, KP, and Balochistan.
Roads in steep areas like Gilgit-Baltistan, Murree, and Galliyat may be blocked by landslides. Low-lying urban regions such as Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, and Bahawalpur are also susceptible to urban flooding. Trees, poles, solar panels, and cars are among the fragile structures that could be harmed by strong winds.
The majority of Punjab’s cities will have overcast skies with sporadic thunderstorms and rain. Although there may be rains in some places, such as Sibi, Lasbela, and Loralai, Balochistan may still be primarily hot and muggy.
There may be light rain in Hyderabad, Sukkur, and Larkana, but most areas of Sindh will stay hot and humid. People are advised to be careful, avoid travel, and follow safety rules. People living near mountains or rivers should be aware of landslides or sudden floods, especially when travelling.
