Khushdil Shah starred with both bat and ball as Karachi Kings pulled off a thrilling two-wicket win over Peshawar Zalmi in the 11th match of PSL 10 at the National Bank Stadium.
Chasing 148 on a tough pitch, the Kings reached the target in the final over. Hasan Ali sealed the win with a boundary off Hussain Talat.
The chase got off to a shaky start as Tim Seifert fell on the first ball, and James Vince followed soon after. Captain David Warner held the innings together with a fighting 60 off 47 balls, hitting eight fours.
He got support from Saad Baig, Irfan Khan, and Mohammad Nabi in small partnerships, but wickets kept falling. Khushdil then stepped up with an unbeaten 23, guiding Kings home after Warner’s dismissal in the 17th over.
Earlier, Khushdil took three wickets to restrict Zalmi to 147.
