Jaecoo J6 launch in Pakistan marks the debut retail model from Chery International’s new partnership with Hyundai Nishat’s NextGen Auto.
Introduced less than five months after the February 2025 deal that ended Chery’s long tie up with Ghandhara Automotive.
The battery powered SUV shows the alliance’s intent to seed a full New Energy lineup under the Omoda and Jaecoo sub brands.
Jaecoo J6 launch in Pakistan: trims, range, and charging
The J6 rides on a 2,715 mm wheelbase, measures 4,406 mm long and 1,910 mm wide, and offers 195 mm of ground clearance.
Exterior kit includes matrix adaptive LEDs, panoramic sunroof, NFC key, and 18 or 19 inch wheels. Three versions land at launch:
- RWD Comfort – single 135 kW motor, 49.9 kWh battery, 329 km NEDC range, 10.5 s to 100 km/h
- RWD Luxury – same motor, 65.6 kWh pack, 462 km range, 8.0 s sprint
- AWD Premium (upgradeable to Phantom) – dual motors, 205 kW combined, 69.7 kWh battery, 418 km range, 6.5 s sprint
All trims accept 6.6 kW AC and 80 kW DC charging; rear drive versions feature a 450 litre boot.
Safety tech lists emergency stop signal, high mount LED brake light, and full ADAS suite.
NextGen Auto says pricing will target the “upper-mainstream” bracket of Pakistan’s emerging EV segment, with bookings open this month and first deliveries due in early Q4.
Further Omoda and Jaecoo hybrids are slated for 2026 as the joint venture ramps local assembly.
With the Jaecoo J6 launch in Pakistan, consumers gain another battery electric option.
The partnership logs its first milestone toward a wider NEV catalogue.
