ISLAMABAD (Azaad English): The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced plans for a state-of-the-art food street in Blue Area, which will feature a variety of local and international food brands, modern infrastructure, and ample parking.

Islamabad is set to get a modern food street in the heart of the city as part of efforts to enhance tourism and recreation.

Muhammad Ali Randhawa president of CDA together with his role as Chief Commissioner of Islamabad led a top-level meeting that led to this decision. The implementation meeting was attended by senior personnel from the planning department along with agents from engineering and environment departments and financial representatives.

The food street will serve visitors by presenting them with superior dining selections available in an orderly environment. This project will serve everyone through its provision of electric carts for senior visitors and children while adopting cashless payment systems.

The planned attractive pathways and seating areas design will establish this space as a perfect venue for both families and tourists to enjoy comfortably. Standards of modern lighting together with hygiene requirements will be strictly applied.

The CDA Chairman gave directions to departments responsible for accomplishing the food street construction at maximum pace. He demanded the design process to adhere to international standards while delivering an unmatched dining space available for residents along with visitors.

According to Chairman CDA these projects will deliver improved quality of life to citizens as they simultaneously welcome more tourists to the Islamabad capital city. Officials received an order to complete these projects on time through their efficient work methods. The CDA administration actively works to establish recreational facilities that will transform Islamabad into an attractive modern destination.

The city aims to develop better pedestrian tracks together with enhanced green spaces to beautify its appearance. The CDA investigates future urban planning techniques to create an environment-friendly Islamabad which enables easy accessibility for all. CDA has also decided to remove mulberry trees, the biggest contributor to pollen allergies in Islamabad.
